I love statistics. Yes, I’m weird and I’ve come to terms with that. At work, I jump at the chance to analyze survey results. I make spreadsheets and compile data and calculate it as many ways as I can.
I remain convinced that someone could take the initiative and make an engaging game in Microsoft Excel. Maybe I should be that someone.
Just this morning, I realized I’d forgotten to button those little, vestigial buttons at the collar of my shirt. I make this oversight this most mornings, so I wondered when, on average, I remember those buttons. It’s probably around 9:45-10:00am (I get to work at 9:00am).
If there is a Heaven, and I get into it, I sure hope there’s a big spreadsheet of my life that I can pore through, finding out how many times I re-checked if I locked my car, what percentage of my income went toward olive oil or how many hours of my life I spent trying to remember what I came into a room to do. I imagine that would entertain me for at least a couple eons.
